通过手势让学生更好的明白句子的意思。通过吟唱使师生间的气氛更融洽,又活跃了课堂气氛,让学生了解今天的学习内容与形容词有关。
二、Revision
Game 1 Magic Eyes. (PPT)
Words: foolish, bull, horn, kill, rubbed, idea, soft, hard, expensive, cheap, ugly.
(课件设计说明:配合鼓点音效,屏幕上匀速闪现学生在前面课时中学过的单词。)
1. T: Today we’ll finish Unit 7. And we’ll have a competition between groups. You ‘re Group 1, you’re Group 2, 3, 4…6. Let’s see which group will be the winner,OK?

上课初提出学习要求和奖励办法,能让学生对学习充满积极性和竞争感,从而主动地学习。
复习旧知,为接下来复述课文做准备。
这一过程不但可以很好地考查学生认读单词的情况,还可以帮助部分学习困难的学生复习形容词以及它们对应的反义词。
Game 2 Quick Response (cards)
Words: long-short, old- new, hot-cold, expensive-cheap, big-small, heavy- light, tall-short, old-young, black- white, hard-soft.

6. T asks some Ss to put the opposite cards on the blackboard.
Ss say the opposite word.
Eg: Ss say “short”。
S1 reads the word, others say the opposite word.

Some Ss put the opposite cards on the blackboard.
学生在单词比拼的过程中各有收获,特别是记不住单词的学生也敢于大声和别人一起读单词。这样,接下来的学习中他们就有词可用了,就能大胆地运用形容词描述事物了。

(课件设计说明:部分学生对于复述整个故事可能会害怕,会出现语法错误。所以课件进行逐图播放,并配以音效和关键词提示,能让不同层次的学生都参与到课堂上来。而且让学生在复述故事的时候,更加流畅、准确。)7. T: Nice work!
