His friend, Leopard, heard his cries and ran in search of him. He was shocked to see him in a pitiful state, gasping for breath.
"How did you get yourself into such a mess?" he asked.
"Don't ask questions. Just get me out of here," Jupa commanded. "This is much too painful to bear!"
Leopard looked at the trap carefully.
"How am I going to get you out? I've never seen such a thing before," he said anxiously. "This must be the work of human beings," he added.
