The First Period
Step One Review.
1. Place Picture Cards 9—16( from SB 4 Unit 2) on the board. For example: exercising, working, shouting, thinking etc. Ask Ss What are they doing? [Ss: He‘s exercising. She‘s shouting.]
2. Take picture cards off the board, ask one student to come up and pick one of the cards. Tell him/ her to act out what is on the card. T: What‘s he/ she doing? [Ss: (S1‘s name) is thinking.]
Step Two. Presentation
Have Ss look at the pictures on the page. T? Point to the first and second picture.) Who‘s this ? [ Ss: It‘s Gogo, Jenny, Ben and Lisa.] T: ( Point to the second picture.) What are they doing?
